Recent Ghost Story from a Guest this week: 👻
“That evening we went out to eat with friends downtown where an older gentleman making balloon animals had handed my 4-year-old son one. We capped off our night with drinks and a sleepy kid on the back patio of the Crescent watching the first full moon of October. I get upstairs to our room forgetting we are in a haunted hotel from all the chit-chatter of the evening and put my kid to sleep and I fall fast asleep shortly after. Now as a mom to a 4-year old I didn’t think anything of it when he started crying in the middle of the night. I go up to him and ask him what’s wrong. He then points to the edge of his bed and says a girl was in our room and was holding his balloon and wouldn’t give it to him. 💀 At that moment the realization of our location, a haunted hotel, became very real! I asked him again and he points again and says “She was right there! She was right there! And wouldn’t give me my balloon”. My mouth was wide open and told him we would find his balloon in the morning and get some rest. I looked at the clock and it was exactly 6 am. Needless to say, every sound and shift in the room kept me up till the sun rose.”
