For guests’ protection, the 1886 Crescent Hotel has instituted a modification regarding its ghost tours effective Friday, March 20. Below are those modifications:
>Normal ghost tours are temporarily suspended till further notice.
>Even though normal tours may not be here, the ghosts still are… that is why the Crescent is offering a taste of the paranormal to its hotel guests only.
>That “taste” includes opening one of our well-known haunted rooms (Room 3500, site of frequent sightings of “the lady in the Victorian nightgown”) and in-house guests will be able to see a short video as well as read several stories of the hotels’ more intriguing in-hotel ghost sightings and encounters… and of course limiting visits to that room to “small groups only” enabling and respecting social distancing.
The hotels, the Crescent and 1905 Basin Park, will continue to employ needed health and safety standards of the day in all departments. The hotels appreciate the patronage of loyal guests as new safety modifications are being taken for health considerations.
