The morgue at the Crescent Hotel is unsettling during a busy tour, but what happens when the guests leave and the lights go out? For expert guide Greg Wright, the end of a shift has brought him face-to-face with shadow figures on two separate occasions.

Here is Greg’s firsthand account of what he saw while closing up:

“I’ve seen two shadow figures. The first was in the autopsy room after a tour. I entered the room to turn off the lights and check the door. As I came in, I saw a short shadow figure standing in the doorway to the cooler. I could see the head and body, and I saw a leg go forward as it took a step into the cooler. It didn’t go behind anything; it just disappeared. It was about the same height as the picture of Norman Baker on the door—about five feet, four inches tall.”

“The second time was at the end of the hall near the Ghost Parlor. I saw the figure go from west to east on the wall. There was no person in that area of the hall.”
