The Crescent Hotel’s paranormal calendar begins with a one-night Lockdown in early January, followed later in the month by the 16th Annual Eureka Springs Paranormal Weekend. Whether you are looking for a single night of ghost hunting or a full weekend of investigations, haunted history, and paranormal programming, January 2027 offers two very different ways to explore the Most Haunted Hotel in America.

January 5: Crescent Hotel Lockdown

On Tuesday, January 5, 2027, the Crescent Hotel will host a standalone Lockdown Paranormal Experience for up to 60 participants.

With the hotel closed to the public, guests will have rare after-hours access to investigate some of the Crescent Hotel’s most active spaces and reportedly haunted guest rooms. The evening includes an introduction from the paranormal team before participants begin self-guided ghost hunting throughout the hotel.

The Lockdown runs from 8:00 PM until 3:00 AM, with shuttle transportation departing the Basin Park Hotel beginning at 7:00 PM. Participants stay overnight at the Basin Park Hotel, with one-night room rates beginning at $129. The $175-per-person Lockdown fee includes round-trip transportation and the paranormal investigation.

January 28–30: ESP Weekend

The 16th Annual Eureka Springs Paranormal Weekend, or ESP Weekend, takes place January 29–30, 2027, at the Crescent Hotel.

ESP Weekend is a two-day paranormal event for guests who want to dig deeper into the Crescent Hotel’s haunted history and unexplained activity. Led by the hotel’s ghost tour team, the weekend includes small-group investigations, guided exploration of active areas of the hotel, nightly ghost tours, behind-the-scenes access, hospitality breaks, and educational sessions led by paranormal experts.

ESP Weekend programming includes:

  • Small-group paranormal investigations

  • Guided exploration of active areas inside the Crescent Hotel

  • Paranormal presentations and discussions led by guest experts

  • Seminars exploring the Crescent Hotel’s unusual history

  • Nightly ghost tours

  • Behind-the-scenes access and hospitality breaks

ESP Weekend tickets are $250 per person, with rooms starting at $149 per night.

Optional ESP Lockdown: January 28

Guests attending ESP Weekend can add an optional lockdown-style investigation on Thursday, January 28, 2027.

Available only as an add-on to ESP Weekend, this late-night experience provides smaller-group, after-hours access to the Crescent Hotel’s most active paranormal hotspots. It’s for guests who want extra investigation time before ESP Weekend begins on January 29.

The January 28 ESP Lockdown is not the same as the January 5 standalone Lockdown. It is available only to registered ESP Weekend attendees and may be added to an ESP Weekend reservation, subject to availability.
